Brintons has been producing the highest quality carpets since the 1700s. A British brand whose carpets are hailed among the finest in the world, Brintons recently embarked on a major expansion programme.
Our Translation Services
Aimed at stimulating growth on a global scale, the strategy involved revamping Brinton’s website. As part of the three-month project, Bubbles Translation Services was tasked with translating the site into four different European languages in a bid to:
- Make it easier for customers to access the wide range of carpet collections
- Learn about Brinton’s rich heritage and industry-leading craftsmanship
- Find out more about Brinton’s network of local distributors
The website is steeped with a wealth of information that encompasses a wide range of subject areas, including company background, technical details and advice, case studies, guidance on selecting carpets and terms and conditions.
Brintons needed the expertise of a specialist translation company equipped with the knowledge and experience to translate such a wide range of subject areas.
Bubbles had already been providing Brintons with high quality translations for several years and, as such, its proven resources, skills and expertise, were identified as being the number one choice to deliver the project on time and within budget.
As a result of Brintons already using a third party to create the content for its English website, part of the brief included Bubbles liaising directly with the web designers.
By taking this approach, Bubbles’ translators were able to produce content in a format that enabled the website to be populated with minimal effort, a move that ultimately resulted in minimising the final cost for Brintons.
Planning was pivotal to delivering the project effectively and efficiently and formed a fundamental part of the approach from the outset.
Brintons, Bubbles and the web designers worked collaboratively at every stage and started discussions several months prior to the translation work getting underway. By adopting this approach key milestones were identified and agreed in advance, including the best method for translation, timescales, content, testing and costs.
Teams of translators, who each focused on a different language, were set up by Bubbles to translate the content within pre-agreed timescales and to the exceptionally high standard Brintons is accustomed to receiving from Bubbles.
Bubbles is continuing to work with Brintons to ensure the European versions of its website are being updated accordingly.
